Lester's assassinations + the stock market
Each of Lester's five assassination missions moves a company's share price. Buy the stock with all three characters' money before starting the mission, then sell after it climbs. Save as many of these missions as you can until after the final heist, The Big Score, so you have the most money to invest.

Stock prices take a few in-game days to move, so sleep or switch characters to pass time. BAWSAQ prices also react to online activity, so those two tips can pay less than the LCN ones.
Other ways to earn in Story Mode
- Heists pay the most. Better crew members cost a bigger cut but fail less.
- Buy businesses with weekly income once you have spare cash.
- Ignore any "money cheat" code or phone number online. None of them are real.
